πŸ— The Verification Desk

PROOF OF
AUTHORITY

A dark window is not a listing. Every property on GHOSTO has to earn its way onto the map β€” through eight stages, each one locked behind a gate that somebody with actual authority had to open.

This is the desk where that happens. A building is discovered. It is researched against public records. An owner is identified. We contact them. They authorize us β€” in writing, notarized, on the record. Only then does it become available, then under contract, and finally sold, leased or revitalized. Every move is hashed into a chain nobody can quietly edit.

β˜—

The two laws of the desk

Silence is never authorization. No reply is not a yes. The engine has no code path that turns an unanswered letter into permission to sell somebody's building.

Stages are earned in order. You cannot skip to β€œavailable.” The chain records the way you walked, not the way you wished you had.

β€”in the ledger
β€”owner-authorized
β€”published
β€”chains intact
β‘  The chain

Eight stages. One direction.

Click a stage to filter the desk. The numbers are live β€” every one of them is a property that is exactly as far along as its paperwork allows.

πŸ”’ Only AVAILABLE and beyond reach the public ledger. Everything to the left of it is internal: we know a name, we know a street, but nobody may advertise a space until a human with authority has said yes.

Open a file

Pick a property. See exactly which gates are open, which are shut, and what is standing between it and the next stage.

Loading the desk…
πŸ—

Choose a property to open its file. You will see its whole history β€” who found it, what the records said, who we wrote to, who signed, and the checksum that proves none of it has been edited since.

β‘’ The oath

What we will not do

We will not sell silence

An unanswered email is a data point about our timing, not a permission slip. The engine has no method: "no_reply" and never will β€” the refusal is tested, not promised.

We will not go around a back

Contact goes through a published business channel, or one the owner handed us. We do not call a number we found on a doorbell, and we do not reach a family member to get around a signature.

We will not fake a chain

Every event is hashed into the one before it. Change a single note after the fact and the checksum breaks loudly β€” and the desk reports exactly where.

We will not publish a stranger's name

Public records show the stage, the method, the date and the checksum. The owner's name and contact details stay in the desk.

We will not skip

Eight stages, in order, one at a time. A property that reaches β€œavailable” has been researched, identified, contacted and authorized β€” and you can see each of those steps.

We will not quietly forget

When an owner withdraws consent, the listing comes down, the authorization is voided and the reversal is written into the chain. You cannot be quietly delisted.

β‘£ Public records

Proof you can check

These are the properties that earned a public listing. Each carries a checksum over its whole history. Anyone can fetch the record and see that it has not been altered.

Know a building that should be busy?

It starts as a dark window and a walk-past. Report it and it enters the chain at the very first stage: DISCOVERED. From there, it has to earn the rest β€” and so do we.
